In 2018 a dream came true: I illustrated a book. The story, written by Tim Mejerski, is about a boy

who invented the famous pumpernickel in Soest in 1444. The book contains about 30 pages and

features colorful illustrations suitable for children but also appealing to adults.

The Pumpernickel of Soest has had an enormous importance in the history of the city. The children's

book was printed in a limited number of copies and enjoyed great interest. In addition to readings in

bookshops in Soest, a newspaper article was written about the book and the television channel WDR

broadcasted a contribution about the book.
